Tropicamide and atropine were used to deepen the anterior chamber. Sympathomimetic drugs such as phendimetrazine and ephedrine are used as anorexiants and may induce transient myopia associated with ciliochoroidal effusion, shallow anterior chamber, and acute angle-closure glaucoma.
